The Ottawa Classical Choir together with the choirs and orchestra of the New World Philharmonic Society under the direction of Maestro Michel Brousseau present Finest Moments from Messiah on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Canadian Museum of History Theatre. (100 Rue Laurier, Gatineau)
The choirs with orchestra, accompanied by soloists Ania Hejnar and Marc Boucher will perform Handel’s signature moments from this classic of classical music repertoire.
Guest soloist soprano Ania Hejnar is a multi-winner of a number of vocal competitions including the Canadian Music Competition and the Barry Alexander International Vocal Competition. Ms. Hejnar has performed throughout Canada and internationally including Carnegie Hall.
Guest soloist baritone Marc Boucher is a twice-awarded recipient of the Prix Opus by the Conseil quebecois de la musique. Mr. Boucher continues to perform in Canada and Europe in such operas as Carmen and Tosca.
Tickets are $35 regular and $45 reserved. They’re available until Friday night December 5th 2014 at Librairie du Soleil, Compact Music, The Leading Note, Books on Beechwood, St John’s Music, Granata Music. They can also be purchased online (below) until midnight Saturday December 6th 2014.
Tickets will also be available at the door, on the day of the concert, Sunday December 7th from 2:00 p.m.
