Lara Ferreira is a young and gifted soprano who exudes charm, passion, and charisma. Her varied style has taken her from folk to classical to operatic repertoire. She has recently performed in Bytown Operaworks’ Opera Night in Ottawa, appearing in several roles including Isabelle/Madeline (Face on the Barroom Floor), Mme Silberklang (The Impresario), Musetta (La Bohème), and Gianetta(L’Elisir d’Amore). She has also performed at the Ottawa Polish Festival, the Maison du Citoyen (Hull, Quebec), and various charity events throughout Ottawa. Lara has studied voice for several years under Maria Knapik as well as at the University of Toronto under Mary Morrison.
